Make it easy to use vPost

I visited vPost a few times in the past, but I never get to use it. I found it rather difficult to understand this service.  I tried again today and wish to share this feedback. I now know how vPost works. I am given a personal address in the country of purchase (e.g. China, USA, Japan) and asked to quote this address for the supplier to deliver this address.  When it is delivered, I get an notification from vPost. Improve the reliability of postal services

In the past, we have a reliable postal service. This has deteriorated over the past two decades or so, after Sing Post was privatized and it spent more attention to other activities to increase its revenue and profits, rather than its core business.  In recent years, the public has experienced the following mistakes: a) Mails were late in delivery b) Mails were delivered to wrong addresses c) Mails were not delivered.......

IMDA should monitor SingPost's service standards

I agree with Mr Sean Lim Wei Xin (SingPost should focus on mail delivery first; Dec 24, 2018) and Mr Chua Chun Wei (Unhappy with SingPost's service standards; Jan 2). There have been many complaints about SingPost's falling service standards at my estate. I have even heard of people ending up with late payment charges because they did not receive their bills. SingPost should focus on mail delivery first

While it is commendable to see Singapore Post giving back to society through house visits, I cannot help but feel that it should first concentrate on its main business of mail delivery (Postman delivers letters - and care; Dec 20). I am sceptical about SingPost's comment that its postmen "were able to manage their schedules and maintain delivery standards" even with the house visits. Bad system adopted by Sing Post

I share this episode as an example of the need for our big organizations to be more customer focused.  I received a card in my letter box from SingPost. They could not deliver a parcel. I have to bring the card to the POP station (1 mile away) to collect the parcel.  I went to the POP station, scanned the bar code on the card and got a message - Status unknown.  What does this mean?
