It is heartwarming to know that the Government is giving out another tranche of Wage Credit Scheme payouts in March next year (Employers to get payouts under Wage Credit Scheme in March, Dec 18). The money will go a long way to help and support employers during this pandemic.

Many companies have been affected, in no small way, by the pandemic. Many employees have had their workdays reduced and wages cut by employers to continue to sustain the business, and hope to see some light at the end of the tunnel soon.

Hence, while the Wage Credit Scheme support to employers is welcome, I hope some help can be given directly to employees.
