Ministry of Comm and Information Use of bot to create mischief
One mischievous person uses a bot (automated program) to register my email address in several mailing lists.

I get 200 requests (and still continuing) to confirm my registration. It takes me 1 minute to delete them.

That mischievous person commits a serious offence under the Misuse of Computer Act. If he is caught, he can go to jail and be slapped with a serious penalty.

Using a bot for this purpose must be an aggravated offense.

I believe that the email reply from the website contains a trial that will identify the person based on the IP address of his device.

If the government agency (ministry of communication and information) is interested to take action, they can contact me.

If they do not wish to enforce the law, let the law be a useless one.
