Covid-19 crisis

Expansion of isolation facilities
There is a positive aspect in the actions taken by the ministerial task force during the covid-19 crisis.

They were able to expand the isolation facilities quickly when the need arose.

Over 20,000 places in isolation facilities were set up within a matter of days. They include the university dormitories, convention centers, army barracks, cruise ships, hotels and temporary sites.

The quick response has prevented the hospitals from being flooded with patients.

Most of the infections were mild and do not need to be admitted into hospitals.

The response of the ministerial task force in this aspect of the crisis has been commendable.

However, I do not agree with many other aspects of the strategy that were decided by the task force.
